The Statue of Unity is the tallest statue in the world. It is located in Sadhu Bet Island on the Narmada River in Gujarat, India. The statue stands 182 meters or 597 feet tall.

It’s a giant infrastructure made by concrete and steel. It shows Patel walking as a sardar, illustrating him bringing all the hundreds of princely states together when he worked on building up India after independence. It started construction in 2013 and took more than five years to be finished. The project generated employment for over 3000 workers. Climbing to the observation deck located at an altitude of 153 meters takes more hours.
